World Environment Day was celebrated by class 8th Victors with great fanfare on June 5. The function began with a special tribute to Mother Nature by the school choir . It was followed by a speech by Chaitanya Diware depicting the importance of the theme . Then there was an impactful skit on ‘ Say No to Plastic ’. Giving a clarion call to the audience Mrs . Arpana Dongre Mam , the Principal, addressed the audience with an enlightening speech to spread awareness of saving environment by stopping the use of plastic bags , by planting saplings , by nurturing trees around , by caring for birds and animals , by loving nature around in short . She also urged the students to become environment activists and spread the message of saving nature to the masses around . She also initiated the ‘ Green School Campaign ’. It was followed by a formal vote of thanks and the event concluded .
