CHILDREN’S DAY Date 14-11-2018

Noel School strives to carve out something new for its students and Children’s Day being a day specially for them the students of Std.6 planned out a different programme and gifted the children of the school lots of fun and joy . The Chief Guest of the programme was the Co-founder of Noel School , Mrs . Surekha Vijay Manwar Madam and The Principals Mrs . Arpana Dongre Madam and Mr. Anul Manwar Sir . The programme was anchored by Sejal Chikte and Shweta Gopnarayan . The first step of the programme was lamp lighting . The respected dignitaries lightened the lamp to inaugurate the programme and after this they were welcomed with roses by Mrs. Sonali Deshpande Madam and Mrs. Sonal Sharma Madam . Then we had a rainbow of performances . The first performance was given by the teachers to the students and they sang a beautiful sang ‘Happy Children’s Day ’ in their melodious voices . Children’s Day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children and that’s why a speech about the importance of Children’s Day was given by Shruti Gawande . After this , a mime about child labour was presented by the girls of 6th Standard . After this performance a skit was performed based on the importance of parents . The next step of the programme was the entertaining skit ‘Anokha Class’ performed by teachers . On this special occasion games were arranged for the students the names of the games were धुन ने किया कानों को सुन and तेरी नाक नाक बचायेगा तेरा नाम . The games were enjoyed a lot by the students . The last performance was given by teacher who performed a dance on the songs ” बम बम बोले ” and ” हंगामा “. The Principal’s Message followed the dance . Mrs.Dongre Madam expressed that the children are the greatest reward and blessing to the world bestowed by the Almighty God . They are the little angels that make the place a little heaven on the earth . The present generation being highly talented gets a lot of freedom to chase their dreams . Hence they must grab every opportunity to develop their personality by equipping themselves with the upgraded knowledge and skills . The children are an apple of the eye to their parents who trust them wholeheartedly and so children should never deceive them in anyway . They must do daily some household chores and take up domestic responsibilities . The children of today are the citizens of tomorrow . So they must exhibit good social skills and become good human beings . The speech ended on this optimistic note that the children must adhere to ethics and manifest them through their behaviour setting a good example for others to follow The last but not the least part of the programme is Vote of Thanks . Sonali Bhoyar , the class teacher of 6th Champions , expressed the Vote of Thanks . Noel School organized a Full Day Camp on 2nd November , 2018 for students’ personality development . It is the time when students learn something extra which will help them to lead life well . The theme ‘Arise and Shine in Service to Mankind’ was a catalyst for everyone . The camp started with a prayer in the presence of the Headmistress Mrs . Arpana Dongare Madam . The topics taken by each petal were gimmick . The Rose petal performed on the topic ‘Love and compassion towards humanity’. The Daffodil petal chose the topic ‘Savitribai Phule’ . The ‘Three shadow of humanity’ was the topic of the Lotus Petal . The last but not the least the Cosmos petal performed on the topic ‘Kindness towards humanity’. A variety of activities like skits , songs , games , funny acts , funny jokes ,funny news , quiz contest , out-of-box activities etc were performed through different rounds . But the most spectacular round was the formation round where all the petals gave their best . Some of the performances were really worthwhile in emphasizing the theme which is also the moto of the school that is “Arise and Shine in Service to Mankind.” The young souls enjoyed and learnt lots of things through their competition . The winner of this camp was the ‘Daffodil’ petal and the runner up was the ‘Lotus’ petal . Under different categories , students and teachers got the awards . The Camp is the most memorable event of school life at Noel as students get involved in new activities which in turn fill the young minds with a lot of life skills . Noel School organized a Full Day Camp on 2nd November 2018 . The theme ‘Philosophy of Life’ was a catalyst for everyone . The programme was head started in the presence of the dignitaries , Co-founder of Noel School Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam , Headmistress Mrs . Arpana Dongare Madam and Principal Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir . The camp had really provided a good stuff to one and all . The topics taken by each petal were gimmick . The Rose petal had the topic ‘As you sow , so shall you reap ’, the Daffodil petal had chosen the topic ‘Live and let live ’ , ‘Always be what you are’ was the topic taken by the Lotus petal , the Comos petal performed on the topic ‘Make improvements , not excuses ’. A variety of activities like skits , songs games , debates etc were performed through different rounds . Some of the programmes were so touching and nostalgic that they had enlightened the spirits of humanity and kinship among the young hearts which exactly deals with the school’s moto ‘Arise and Shine in Service to Mankind ’. The winner was the Cosmos petal and the Daffodil was the runner up . The camp came to an end by the notable speech of the judge , the guest of the honour Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam . She addressed the students saying that today the society is feeling a dire need to lead life according to ethics which have been erased out from our culture due to the fast globalisation . But we need to stick to our roots . The camp is an attempt where students can learn some lessons on practical life and develop their own philosophy of life . She ended her speech with a self-composed poem आज CAMP का विषय का तत्त्व , सभी Petals ने बखूबी समझाया हमें इसका महत्व , जीने का तरीका अगर सही हो तो जीवन होगा सफल ये रखों याद , ये सब तत्त्व बने आपकी जीवन की मजबूत बुनियाद ! ” A video clip of an old lady Aaji named Mrs. Aasha Morey was shown lauding and appreciating a student of class 9 Sambhaji A. Kale for his brave feat of rushing his classmate Sejal Shekhar Phulkar to the hospital immediately after she met with an accident . The camp was a happy ending of the first half of the session 2018-19 for everyone .

29-10-2018 Dental Check-up Camp Dr. Rajesh Kambe Dental College and Hospital located at Kanheri Sarap, Akola organized a dental check-up camp for the students of Class 1 to 10. The dental check-up was conducted to help the children to understand their dental problems and focus on brushing habit. The students were provided a check-up card mentioning their dental problems. The team of doctors rendered their service for almost whole week and meticulously checked all the children. The Hospital authorities also informed the students that the treatment for dental problems can be obtained from their Hospital at very nominal rates. We encourage the students and their parents to take the opportunity to take care of their dental problems on regular basis.

A very successful programme on ‘World Food Day ’ was held on 26th October 2018 . All were very excited about this auspicious day . With the host of the programme , Gungun Borkar , there were many skits , slides , games and dramas . The programme began with an emotional scene of a boy stealing roti because his mother was hungry and then all of a sudden began the emotional video of hungry poor kids . This was followed by skits and games . The programme ended with fits of laughter as the players made funny and weird faces while playing ‘Nutri Test’ . After all practicing , 7th std. students were able to convey the message of ‘Zero Hunger By 2030 ’ and ‘Never Waste Food ’.

The seminar on ‘Cyber Security Awareness ’ was held on 23rd October 2018 in Noel School Akola . Representatives Ms. Sneha Jaiswal and Ms. Devibharti Mahalle from Shankarlal Khandelwal College , Akola conducted the seminar and guided the students . Students from std. 6 to 9 were present to attend the seminar . Firstly , the students were asked different questions regarding their interest towards internet and their knowledge towards cyber crime . After that they were given information regarding various sites and the security rules that should be followed while using these sites . Exa . The sites having name https : are more secured than sites having http : The seminar proved to be beneficial for both teachers and students as the security rules are very important for the present and future positive response got from all the students .

Chocolate Day Celebration “When we don’t have words, chocolate can Speak Volumes.” Chocolate day was celebrated on 23rd September 2018 at Noel school, Akola This event was Celebrated by the students of 3rd Topaz with merry and joy . Chocolate day is everyone’s favorite day as every – one likes to get and gift a bunch of chocolates to their loved ones. The Programme began with giving the Chocolate day wishes by the to students. Teachers showed them a PPT of Chocolate day wishes. For Making the day memorable, students presented one dance in front of the Primary section. The student of 3rd ( Topaz) Mast. Ayush Tathe gave speech on “Importance of Chocolates” in front of the students. The Programme ended with a PPT on ‘ journey of chocolate ‘ showed by The Class Teacher of Class 3 Topaz

Daughters are always special because they are the indication of charm, beauty and happiness in this world. Hence Noel School organized a session on 3rd October, 2018 in collaboration with ‘Gavyam Social Welfare Society’ to spread the hygienic awareness among its loving daughters. The Session was head started in the presence of the Principal, Mrs. Arpana Dongre and Dr. Kalpana Kale gave guidance to the girls from Class 7 to 9 of State Board and CBSE Board. While interacting with the audience, Dr. Kale said, “Using sanitary napkins is the best alternative during menstrual.” She further advised to have proper disposal of the used napkins in order to maintain healthy environment and good health. Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam stated that the sanitary napkin vending machines have been made available in the school in girls’ toilets and in case of emergency a pad can be obtained through this vending machine at a nominal cost of Rs. 5/- per pad. Dr. K.A. Sharma, President of Gavyan Social Welfare Society, Mr. Dhananjay Mishra, Secretary of Yuva Rashtraseva Sangh and Dr. Mohasin Khureshi, President of Kureshi Foundation were also present for this programme. The programme was hosted by Sanjeevani Jadhao Teacher. The session came to an end with a happy note – ‘Prevention is better than cure’.

Gandhi Jayanti 1st Oct, 2018, Noel School, Akola. India’s national festival Gandhi Jayanti as well as Lal Bahadur Shashtri Jayanti was celebrated at Noel School with a great zeal and enthusiasm. Light is a symbol of brightness and prosperity, The programme began with the lamp lightning ceremony. The Principal of the Noel English High School Mrs. Arpana Dongre Mam and The Principal of State Board Primary Section Mr. Anul Manwar Sir inaugurated the programme. The students sang a song which was highly appreciated. For making the day memorable students delivered motivational and encouraging speeches and also recited the poems. 1st and 2nd std. students showed the importance of Gandhiji’s principles through the dance. Gandhiji was not only a person but also a school of thoughts. He fought against the British with Truth, Non-violence, Compassion and Peace. The students showed how we can shake the world in a gentle way through a skit. Dandi March is also known as Salt Satyagraha. The most spectacular skit of the Dandi March which was presented by the students of class 3 to 5 was memorizing. The Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam delivered a graceful speech with her thoughts and experiences and gave a message to the students that students should adopt three principles of Gandhiji, See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil.The programme ended with a vote of Thanks.15 13 12 11 10 3 20 21 23

SSC – IMPORTANT STEP TOWARDS SUCCESS 3rd October , 2018 , Noel School , Akola SSC is the biggest milestone in a student’s life and then only he can discover new avenues in his life . But if the efficiency of a child is not optimized and if true potential is not recognized then the student could not get proper output , which he desires . So , to motivate and guide students for the preparation of their SSC exams a seminar was conducted in Noel School by ‘Sakal’ a leading newspaper group . The program began with the welcoming of guests and dignitaries . The most revered guests were Dr. Narendra Rathi – Child specialist , Smile hospital , Mr. Sandeep Bharmbhe – Editor of Sakal , Akola Edition , Mr. Dilip Bibe – Educational Counsellor , Santosh Jumde – Manger of Sakal along with the honourable Principals Mrs. Arpana Dongre and Mr. Anosh Manwar . Dr. Narendra Rathi highlighted some medical aspects of relaxation to study well . He emphasized about diet , sleep , stress management and parental guidance to relax the minds of the students . He also explained about the medical state like dyslexia . Then the students were addressed by Mr. Bibe and were told about the methodologies to study and prepare for SSC board exam within the remaining short span of 5 months time . The students along with parents were made aware about the evens and odds to be taken into consideration while preparing for exams .The programme was anchored by Miss . Divya Katariya and ended with the Principal’s address and vote of thanks on a happy note .
