04-09-2023 AKOLA DISTRICT SCHOOL GAMES – SQUASH COMPETITION

The Co- Founder of Noel School, Akola, Mrs. Surekha Vijay Manwar Madam, the Directors of Noel School, Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam, Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir, Mr. Anul Manwar Sir, the Principal Mr. Ravikant Shinde Sir and Akola District Squash Association Secretary, Mr Dinkar Ujale Sir inaugurated this event and made it a memorable day. Overall 220 boys and girls participated in this competition from the Municipal Corporation and the rural section. Total 16 School participated in this competition. All Schools played on various levels. Noel School, Akola (CBSE) bagged maximum positions of this competition. Mr. Nitin Bharane, Mr. Narayan Battule, Mr. Amit Sange, Mr. Shahid Khan, Mrs. Kalpana Das were the refrees appointed for the game. With the Guidance of D.S.O. , Akola and also with the help and co- operation of Noel School, Akola the Event was successfully completed.

World Blood Donar Day is observed every year on 14th June which is the birth anniversary of Karl Landsteiner . The day creates and opportunity to urge government as well as national health authorities to allocate enough resources and implement techniques to increase the blood collection from unpaid , voluntary donars. Blood, blood products as well as their transfusion are important parts of patient care and public health and quality of life of a wide range of individuals. ‘World Blood Donar Day ’ was celebrated in The Noel English High School on 2nd August 2023 . The event began with informative speech on blood donation which was delivered by Trisha Manwar. The students of standard 8th Royals sung the song ‘Be a giver ’ and inspire audience for blood donation. A musical skit was performed by the students and tried to show difficulties faced by Thalesimia patients to search a blood donar . A skit was performed which showed the need of blood transfusion to a wounded soldier. Then after a skit showing people’s fear of donating blood. This was followed by a skit featuring people with rare blood group that is O negative and AB negative. At last students performed a dance on ‘Blood Donation’ song. The programme came to an end with a formal vote of thanks.
