Arise and Shine in Service to Mankind
On 11th December 2019 students of the Noel English High School celebrated the Annual Day Function with great enthusiasm and zeal . The entire school participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event . The triumph was possible by the relentless efforts of the Principal Staff and students . Mrs. Surekha Manwar , the co-founder of school was the esteemed Guest of honour for the eve , She is an epitome of hardwork and perseverance . Other Distinguished guests , elite guardians , revered teachers and students also attended the programme . The inauguration of the programme was executed by invoking the Lord with a prayer and a song then the Chief Guest of the programme Mrs. Surekha Manwar fired up the programme officially by releasing the balloons of attributes of Indian Philosophy in the air as this years theme of Cultural Programme was ‘INDIAN PHILOSOPHY’ After this grand inauguration , the audience was introduced with the concept of Philosophy and the important ‘Chakras’ in meditation , so that they get connected with the theme of the predicament . The next segment of the programme was ‘Felicitation of the meritorious students ’ in the field of academics , sports , elementary and intermediate Drawing Grade Exams . The students along with their parents were rewarded for their hardwork and perseverance which inspired other Noelites . Then began a series of performances prepared by the teachers and students of different classes with their different philosophies depicting a very soothing message to the audience . The high school teachers of the school also rocked the stage by performing a musical drama on ‘Women Empowerment ’ , ‘Problems of teachers ’ , a mesmerizing Kawali by Primary School teachers served an icing on the cake . The other gleeful segment was the acquaintance of the Noel Staff with the audience . The complete Noel Staff exhibited the bond of a family . The Principal of the school , Mrs. Arpana Dongre appreciated the hardwork of students and teachers to make this show a grand success She also addressed the audience by explaining them the importance of Indian Philosophy in our daily lives . She also insisted on imbibing the attributes of Indian Philosophy in students to increase concentration , reduce stress and anxiety and maintain peace in life . This message was applauded by the audience . The series of performances entertained the audience with sublime messages . The performances , the colourful attires of participants , the beautiful embellishments of the stage , the co-ordination of management , teachers and students and the cheering of the audience all made this event incredibly awesome . Kudos to all the Noelites !
“ There is no garden as beautiful as childhood . ” Every child is a different kind of flower together they make this world a beautiful garden . Children’s Day was celebrated very enthusiastically at the Noel English High School , Akola on 14th November, 2019 as a tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru ’. ‘Precious Childhood’ was the theme of Children’s Day celebration . The programme began by offering a garland to the image of Chacha Nehru . Then Deep-prajwalan was done by all the dignitaries of the school . The co-founder of Noel School , Mrs. Surekha Vijay Manwar and the Principals Mrs. Arpana Dongre , Mr. Anosh Manwar and Mr. Anul Manwar were present . Children’s Day celebration focused on children and their enjoyment . The anchors embodied the beautiful relationship between father and daughter , Khushi Bhati played the father and Gayatri Bansod , the daughter . Two funny and entertaining skits presented by students won the hearts of the audience . Then a skit presented by our co-ordinator Mrs. Sonali Deshpande madam was very interesting as well as it was the power packed performance . After that other teacher from High School presented their musical skit which was the attraction of the day and cheered by the students one emotional mime act was presented by students which was based on childhood . Poorva Telang delivered a very powerful speech . A vote of thanks was followed by an energetic dance performance of the students . This whole programme was hosted by 8th std. All the teachers and students put in their efforts to make the programme successful . The primary school also had a wonderful fun-packed programme . Teachers dressed up in school uniform were the centre of attraction . They rocked the stage with their act of ‘Chala hawa yewu dya’. This was followed by some students’ performances on a few block busters . The Principal addressed the students giving them the message to become obedient , develop their personalities by practising any hobby and serve the society when they grow up . She also ask them to correct one line of the song they performed . Padhoge Likhoge to banoge nawaab jo tum kheloge kudoge to honge lajawab . At last Mrs. Arpana Dongre madam addressed and encouraged the children . The programme ended with the free dance of all the children .
Noel School , Akola 8th Nov. 2019 . With a view to promote positive thinking , team spirit and overall dynamism in students , Noel School every year conducts a personality development camp. The year’s camp also was inaugurated with a great pomp and enthusiasm amongst the students on 8th Nov. , 2019 . The theme for this year’s camp was ‘Indian Philosophy ’. Various Indian Philosophers initiated the camp with their philosophy . The students were categorized in four teams, like every year , i.e. Rose , Daffodil , Lotus and Cosmos . Rose team taught about the philosophy of Gautam Bauddha and Jijabai whereas Daffodil team illustrated about Swami Vivekanand and Behanabai Chaudhary . Lotus team exemplified about the philosophy of Pandita Ramabai and Sant Dyaneshwar , on the contrary , Cosmos team presented the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and Savitribai Phule . The number of activities outlined during the camp included introduction , skit , song , debate and video session . All the young aspirants tried their best to give a tough competition to the other teams . A panel of judges presided over the activities including school’s principals . The students were put to qrueling sessions wherein they were judged for creative thinking , decision-making , problem solving , communicative ability etc . The activities ranged from event management to performance in role playing , debate session etc. The brain-storming session of debate was the most highlighted part where students pondered upon the notion ‘Attire enhances attitude .’ To conclude , the Principal of the school , Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam , addressed the students highlighting the importance of Indian Philosophy in today’s era . She explained how it is very important to train the mind to think . If we do not think , we will never be able to make optimum use of brain a great resource gifted by our heavenly Father freely to everyone of us . So everyone must have his / her own philosophy of life in order to lead a life of joy and contentment . Ultimately , she announced the results of the camp, declaring Rose petal as the winner . Thus the programme ended on a philosophical note . Inculcating various qualities in students , Noel School every year organised a personality development camp . The theme ‘Indian Philosophy’ was a catalyst for everyone . The programme started with the motivational prayer in the presence of the dignitaries , Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and Principal Mr Anul Manwar Sir . Four petals presented four Philosophers and their philosophy through the skit and their intros Rose petal presented the Philosophy of Sant Kabir Das . Philosophy of Gautam Buddha was presented by Daffodil petal . Humanism is one of the philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore was presented by the Lotus petal . Last but not the least Cosmos petal had presented Chanakya Niti in a very prominent way . A variety of activities like songs formations add mad show , funny news and comedy scene were presented by all the petals to give the students a change . The brain storming session of debate was the most highlighted part where students of Class 3 to 5 pondered upon the notion ‘Home work should be banned ’ and the young buddies of class 1 and 2 also expressed their views on ‘Carbon network is better than story books’ . The winner was Cosmos petal who grabbed most of the awards in the camp. The winners were felicitated by the guest of honour Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and Principal Mr. Anul Manwar Sir with beautiful ‘Ti aras’ and the ‘Crowns’. The camp came to an end with the notable speech of the judge the guest of honour , Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam . She addressed the students saying that today the society is feeling a dire need to lead life according to the ethics which have been erased out from our culture due to the fast globalisation . But we need to stick to our roots . The camp is an attempt where students can learn some lessons on practical life and develop their own philosophy of life .
The Noel English High School (State Board) celebrated ‘World Food Day’ with excitement . A special programme was presented by the students of Class 6 Champions on Wednesday , 6th November , 2019 . The students presented the ‘History of World Food Day ’ at the beginning . Moving on the children sang a song about avoiding wasting food . The children explained the significance and importance of World Food Day through their posters . The children through their skit were successful in delivering the moral lesson that we should eat healthy food . The programme concluded with a game in which one had to come on stage and eat the given fruit within one minute . At the end , the Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam advised not to waste food because one of nine people in the world go to bed hungry . Global food waste amounts to one third of all the food produced . As per the Global Hunger Index , India ranks 102 in 117 countries . However if we all make efforts to save food it can save a lot of food that can be donated to the needy people especially children . Food banks can also be contacted for donating extra food at a party or wedding . Thus the day ended with a big message,‘Waste No Food’.
On the auspicious morning of 3rd October the Noel English High School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti in the presence of our beloved Principal Mam Mrs. Arpana Dongre .It began with the light-lamp ceremony . The programme was hosted by the students of 8th Warriors . They gave an account through their skit of how Gandhiji led our nation in the fight for freedom . The children were given a task of co-operation and a sense of involvement when they enacted the Dandi March conducted within the school campus . In this way through their performance students succeeded to inspire the audience and programme ended happily with the beautiful song , ‘Sabarmati Ke Sant Tune Kar Diya Kamal ’ The National festival of Gandhi Jayanti was hosted with great fervour by Class 4 Sapphire & Pearl of Noel School on 1st of October . After the lamp-lighting ceremony , the hosts gave an account of Gandhiji’s life and his achievement . The highlights were the first Satyagraha of South Africa , the train incident , Dandi March , etc . Some anecdotes from Gandhiji’s life were enacted followed by speeches , poems and songs . On this occasion , the birth anniversary of Lal Bahaddur Shastri was also celebrated . His clarion call ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ was impressed upon the students telling the importance of soldiers and farmers to the nation . At the end , the Principal , Mrs. Arpana Dongre advised to follow ‘Simple Living High Thinking’ . She also reminded about the three Monkeys of Gandhii Who will make life easy if their principles are followed Mr. Anul Manwar , the Principal emphasized the contribution of the 2nd PM of India , Lal Bahaddur Shastri .
CELEBRATED IN NOEL ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL 04-Oct. 10 (Akola) On the auspicious occasion of Green Consumer Day , the students of Noel English High School celebrated this event on4 Oct 2019 in the presence of the Principal , Mrs. Arpana Dongre madam . The programme was hoisted by 7th Reformers and the anchors were Tanvi Bhawane and Mrunall Rathod . There was a good series of programmes . In this series Rutika Ingale first made the audience aquatinted with the importance of green consumers . She told that green consumer is someone who is very concerned about the environment and does eco-friendly ways to do things . This programme highlighted the problems of consumerism and its impact on the environment . The mime was presented by the students was the topic of the day . As well as dance performance was very wonderful . In this way the programme ended on a happy note “Go-Green .” Date : 28th September , 2019 . On the occasion of the Green Consumer Day , the students of Class 2 Coral celebrated this event with great energy and preparedness . There was a good series of programmes consisting of an inspiring skit which told that a green consumer is someone who is concerned about the environment and uses eco-friendly ways to do things . This programme highlighted the problems of consumerism and its impact on the environment . A wonderful dance was also performed by the students . Explaining more , the Principal gave a message that for being green , we must necessarily shun plastic and in place use cloth bags . She also told about the 3 Rs of maintaining environmental balance i.e. , Reduce , Reuse , Recycle . By buying the things that are recycled or reused , we reduce the pressure on the environment and thus become Green Consumers.
Ozone day is celebrated since 1994 to spread awareness regarding the depletion of the ozone layer . The students of class 6 of Noel English School , Akola celebrated World Ozone Day on 19th Sept. 2019 . A speech was delivered by Om S. Chaudhari of class 6 Lords which showcased the importance of saving ozone from depletion . The students were given an opportunity to present a skit on the topic “Conserving ozone layer .” The programme ended with the words of wisdom delivered by the Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam.
