The Noel English High School Akola – State Board

Laughter Day in the Noel English Primary School was organized on 10th Jan. 2019 . The students were very excited for the programme . On this special day , students gave speeches , some students presented dance prerformance in front of the students . There was laughter yougo performed by a few students and all enjoyed it a lot . Master Gaurav Chavan of 5th Angles made every one laugh throughout the skit , ‘Meri Adalat’. At last the Principal, Mrs. Arpana Dongre mam , addressed the students emphasizing laughter works like medicine on the human body . Laughter is vital for refreshing everyone’s mood . ‘A day without laughter is a day wasted .’ The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks extended by Mrs. Bhagyashri Wohurwagh Teacher.

The students of Noel School, Akola – Pre-Primary, State Board and CBSE Board had Christmas Celebration on 22nd December, 2018. The programme was organized by the Principal, Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir and the students of CBSE Class 9. The students sang Christmas Carols in the starting. Feliz Navidad, Mamacita and Jingle Bells are the all-time hit songs loved and enjoyed by each and every one at Noel. Miss Snehal Deshmukh dressed up in the costume of Santa Claus and along with her friends of Class 9 presented a dance on the song – ‘Jingle Bells’. Later games were arranged for the students right from Nursery to Class 10. The Santa Claus also gave gifts to the participating students. At last all the children danced on their favourite song – ‘Jinge Bells’. The Christmas spreads the message of joy and happiness which was truly reflected through the Christmas Celebration held at Noel School,  Akola.

The Annual Function of the Noel English Primary and High School (State Board) was organized on 13th December , 2018 . The school was decorated elegantly . A Grand stage had been set up with professional sound system . The function began at around 4:30 p.m. The Co-founder of the school , Mrs. Surekha Vijay Manwar Madam , the Principal of The Noel English High School , Akola (State Board)Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam , the Principal of Noel School (CBSE) Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir and the Principal of the Noel English Primary School State Board Mr. Anul Manwar Sir were the guests of the annual function . The programme began with a Prayer followed by lamp lighting. The Noel choir welcomed the guests and the audience with their melodious worship song and welcome song . The toppers of the academic year 2017-18 and other students who had brought laurels to the school in various competitions and sports were felicitated along with their parents . Indian culture was the theme of the Annual Function . Many spectacular performances were presented by the young buddies and the High school students showed the shades of Indian culture through their musical skits . The hallmark of the function was the ‘Teachers’ Entry Performance’ . In that the students and teachers gave a tribute to the founder of the school , Late Rev. Vijay Manwar Sir which mesmerized by everyone . All the teachers highlighted the theme with the Song ‘ Sara Jaha Se Achha’ . On this occasion the Principal rose to the audience and addressed them . The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks presented by Mrs. Rekha Kanate . At the end the parents left the school with overwhelming happiness and with smiles on their faces after this exhilarating evening .

“Talent wins Games , but team-work and intelligence wins Championships .” Sports Day is a platform to showcase the talent and efforts put in by the little children to make it a successful event . Noel School had organized Sports Day on 29th and 30th Nov. 2018 for the state board students where the students of the national and state level lit the torch in the school premises . The Co-founder Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam , the Principal of Noel High School, State Board Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam, The Principal of Noel School CBSE Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir and the Principal of Noel Primary School Mr. Anul Manwar Sir were the guest for the Sports Day Function . The Principal of The Noel English Primary School , Mr. Anul Manwar Sir had received the salute given by the four houses i.e. Rose , Daffodil , Lotus and Cosmos . Students of Class 1 to 5 represented different states through the March Past that was the most spectacular event. Afterwards , all the classes presented their colourful drills and won the hearts of the audience as they swayed and drilled to the beats of music on the theme ‘ Indian Culture ’. The guest Mr. Anul Manwar Sir advised the students that sporting spirit is more important than winning or losing the game . Students should be passionate about their games . Further the budding sports stars participated in their respective races with full verve and vigour . The Function ended with medal distribution to the winners and a vote of thanks.

Sports Festival was celebrated in the Noel English High School State Board with a great zeal and zest on 29th and 30th Nov. , 2018 . The students were very excited for the program and were full of enthusiasm and sportsman spirit . The program began with the welcoming of the guest of the program along with the authorities of the school . Mr. Prabhakar Rumale , an activist in sports department ; Mr. Sanjay Mein , organizer of Kabaddi tournaments ; Mr. Pradeep Thorat , expertise in physical education and an activist in social work , were the Chief Guests . Mrs. Surekha Manwar , the Co-founder of the school presided over the program . ; Mr. Anosh Manwar Principal of Noel school CBSE ; Mrs. Arpana Dongre , Principal of Noel school Mr. Anul Manwar , Principal of Noel English Primary School also were present . After the authentic Lamp Lighting ceremony by our dignitaries , the program was triggered up by a March Past by the students . The squads were marching in a great enthusiasm . Later on the students who had done a great job in sports were felicitated by the guests . The students who were felicitated were : 1) Bhushan Shrikrishna Thorat ( Hockey – State Level ) 2) Yogesh Sunil Mitke ( Roll Ball – Guinness Book of world records) 3) Amar Balkrushna Lade ( Karate – National, Gold Medal ) 4) Sanskar Vinod Mangulkar ( Roll Ball – State Level ) 5) Amit Dipak Ramgude ( Kabaddi – National Level ) 6) Kuldip Chandrakant Ahirkar ( Cricket – State Level ) 7) Prathamesh Milind Kahate ( Kabaddi – Division Level ) The next protocol of the program was drills presented by every class . Various drills were presented by the students using props like sarees , lazims , dandiya sticks , basket ball , hoola hoops , rose ring etc. Each and every kid performed energetically . Afterwards , the students were addressed by the Chief guests Mr. Prabhakar Rumale and Mr. Pradeep Thorat and they explained about the importance of sports and discipline in one’s life . Mrs. Arpana Dongre also addressed the students explaining importance of exercise and sports . The students , later on , were taken for various sports activities and games like running , slow cycling , shot put , kho kho , kabbadi etc. They enjoyed throughout the events . And the program ended on a happy note with medal distribution and a vote of thanks .

Children’s day was celebrated at Noel School with enthusiasm . It was really a red letter day for the students. The Chief Guest of the programme was the Co-founder of Noel School Mrs. Surekha Vijay Manwar Madam , the Principal of State Board Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and the Principal of CBSE Board Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir . Celebration began with releasing balloons in the sky as a symbol of Freedom of Childhood by the guests . Then the programme bloomed like a flower , it opened its petals very beautifully . The first one was a beautiful poem sang by 3rd Std. teacher for the students . Children’s day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for the students , so Mast. Pratik Ingole shared his views about it . After this a beautiful skit was presented by 3rd Std. students which was based on “Wishes of children ” . It was a cherry on the cake . After the dance performance 3rd Std. students Teachers also gave a red carpet treatment to students by giving a rocking dance performance on chil chil chillake ‘ चिल चिल चिल्लाके ‘ song. On this special day , a game was arranged for the students ( Hungry bunny ) . There was a PPT for students enjoyment and some students were honoured by the guest . Some teachers presented funny performance in front of the students( खिचड़ी ) Then the Principal Madam shared her views on this day with students . She expressed that the children are the greatest reward to the world , which we have to mould in correct direction . She also encouraged students to help their parents in household chores and develop the habit of shouldering responsibilities . Last but not the least of the programme was the Vote of Thanks extended by Mrs. Sama Deshmukh Madam . In this way the celebration of Children’s day ended with a great zeal .

Noel School strives to carve out something new for its students and Children’s Day being a day specially for them the students of Std.6 planned out a different programme and gifted the children of the school lots of fun and joy . The Chief Guest of the programme was the Co-founder of Noel School , Mrs . Surekha Vijay Manwar Madam and The Principals Mrs . Arpana Dongre Madam and Mr. Anul Manwar Sir . The programme was anchored by Sejal Chikte and Shweta Gopnarayan . The first step of the programme was lamp lighting . The respected dignitaries lightened the lamp to inaugurate the programme and after this they were welcomed with roses by Mrs. Sonali Deshpande Madam and Mrs. Sonal Sharma Madam . Then we had a rainbow of performances . The first performance was given by the teachers to the students and they sang a beautiful sang ‘Happy Children’s Day ’ in their melodious voices . Children’s Day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children and that’s why a speech about the importance of Children’s Day was given by Shruti Gawande . After this , a mime about child labour was presented by the girls of 6th Standard . After this performance a skit was performed based on the importance of parents . The next step of the programme was the entertaining skit ‘Anokha Class’ performed by teachers . On this special occasion games were arranged for the students the names of the games were धुन ने किया कानों को सुन and तेरी नाक नाक बचायेगा तेरा नाम . The games were enjoyed a lot by the students . The last performance was given by teacher who performed a dance on the songs ” बम बम बोले ” and ” हंगामा “. The Principal’s Message followed the dance . Mrs.Dongre Madam expressed that the children are the greatest reward and blessing to the world bestowed by the Almighty God . They are the little angels that make the place a little heaven on the earth . The present generation being highly talented gets a lot of freedom to chase their dreams . Hence they must grab every opportunity to develop their personality by equipping themselves with the upgraded knowledge and skills . The children are an apple of the eye to their parents who trust them wholeheartedly and so children should never deceive them in anyway . They must do daily some household chores and take up domestic responsibilities . The children of today are the citizens of tomorrow . So they must exhibit good social skills and become good human beings . The speech ended on this optimistic note that the children must adhere to ethics and manifest them through their behaviour setting a good example for others to follow The last but not the least part of the programme is Vote of Thanks . Sonali Bhoyar , the class teacher of 6th Champions , expressed the Vote of Thanks . In this way the celebration of Children’s Day ended with a great joy and enthusiasm relieving the students from every kind of stress .

Noel School organized a Full Day Camp on 2nd November 2018 . The theme ‘Philosophy of Life’ was a catalyst for everyone . The programme was head started in the presence of the dignitaries , Co-founder of Noel School Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam , Headmistress Mrs . Arpana Dongare Madam and Principal Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir . The camp had really provided a good stuff to one and all . The topics taken by each petal were gimmick . The Rose petal had the topic ‘As you sow , so shall you reap ’, the Daffodil petal had chosen the topic ‘Live and let live ’ , ‘Always be what you are’ was the topic taken by the Lotus petal , the Comos petal performed on the topic ‘Make improvements , not excuses ’. A variety of activities like skits , songs games , debates etc were performed through different rounds . Some of the programmes were so touching and nostalgic that they had enlightened the spirits of humanity and kinship among the young hearts which exactly deals with the school’s moto ‘Arise and Shine in Service to Mankind ’. The winner was the Cosmos petal and the Daffodil was the runner up . The camp came to an end by the notable speech of the judge , the guest of the honour Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam . She addressed the students saying that today the society is feeling a dire need to lead life according to ethics which have been erased out from our culture due to the fast globalisation . But we need to stick to our roots . The camp is an attempt where students can learn some lessons on practical life and develop their own philosophy of life . She ended her speech with a self-composed poem आज CAMP का विषय का तत्त्व , सभी Petals ने बखूबी समझाया हमें इसका महत्व , जीने का तरीका अगर सही हो तो जीवन होगा सफल ये रखों याद , ये सब तत्त्व बने आपकी जीवन की मजबूत बुनियाद ! ” A video clip of an old lady Aaji named Mrs. Aasha Morey was shown lauding and appreciating a student of class 9 Sambhaji A. Kale for his brave feat of rushing his classmate Sejal Shekhar Phulkar to the hospital immediately after she met with an accident . The camp was a happy ending of the first half of the session 2018-19 for everyone .

29-10-2018 Dental Check-up Camp Dr. Rajesh Kambe Dental College and Hospital located at Kanheri Sarap, Akola organized a dental check-up camp for the students of Class 1 to 10. The dental check-up was conducted to help the children to understand their dental problems and focus on brushing habit. The students were provided a check-up card mentioning their dental problems. The team of doctors rendered their service for almost whole week and meticulously checked all the children. The Hospital authorities also informed the students that the treatment for dental problems can be obtained from their Hospital at very nominal rates. We encourage the students and their parents to take the opportunity to take care of their dental problems on regular basis.
