“ There is no garden as beautiful as childhood . ” Every child is a different kind of flower together they make this world a beautiful garden . Children’s Day was celebrated very enthusiastically at the Noel English High School , Akola on 14th November, 2019 as a tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru ’. ‘Precious Childhood’ was the theme of Children’s Day celebration . The programme began by offering a garland to the image of Chacha Nehru . Then Deep-prajwalan was done by all the dignitaries of the school . The co-founder of Noel School , Mrs. Surekha Vijay Manwar and the Principals Mrs. Arpana Dongre , Mr. Anosh Manwar and Mr. Anul Manwar were present . Children’s Day celebration focused on children and their enjoyment . The anchors embodied the beautiful relationship between father and daughter , Khushi Bhati played the father and Gayatri Bansod , the daughter . Two funny and entertaining skits presented by students won the hearts of the audience . Then a skit presented by our co-ordinator Mrs. Sonali Deshpande madam was very interesting as well as it was the power packed performance . After that other teacher from High School presented their musical skit which was the attraction of the day and cheered by the students one emotional mime act was presented by students which was based on childhood . Poorva Telang delivered a very powerful speech . A vote of thanks was followed by an energetic dance performance of the students . This whole programme was hosted by 8th std. All the teachers and students put in their efforts to make the programme successful . The primary school also had a wonderful fun-packed programme . Teachers dressed up in school uniform were the centre of attraction . They rocked the stage with their act of ‘Chala hawa yewu dya’. This was followed by some students’ performances on a few block busters . The Principal addressed the students giving them the message to become obedient , develop their personalities by practising any hobby and serve the society when they grow up . She also ask them to correct one line of the song they performed . Padhoge Likhoge to banoge nawaab jo tum kheloge kudoge to honge lajawab . At last Mrs. Arpana Dongre madam addressed and encouraged the children . The programme ended with the free dance of all the children .

Noel School , Akola 8th Nov. 2019 . With a view to promote positive thinking , team spirit and overall dynamism in students , Noel School every year conducts a personality development camp. The year’s camp also was inaugurated with a great pomp and enthusiasm amongst the students on 8th Nov. , 2019 . The theme for this year’s camp was ‘Indian Philosophy ’. Various Indian Philosophers initiated the camp with their philosophy . The students were categorized in four teams, like every year , i.e. Rose , Daffodil , Lotus and Cosmos . Rose team taught about the philosophy of Gautam Bauddha and Jijabai whereas Daffodil team illustrated about Swami Vivekanand and Behanabai Chaudhary . Lotus team exemplified about the philosophy of Pandita Ramabai and Sant Dyaneshwar , on the contrary , Cosmos team presented the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and Savitribai Phule . The number of activities outlined during the camp included introduction , skit , song , debate and video session . All the young aspirants tried their best to give a tough competition to the other teams . A panel of judges presided over the activities including school’s principals . The students were put to qrueling sessions wherein they were judged for creative thinking , decision-making , problem solving , communicative ability etc . The activities ranged from event management to performance in role playing , debate session etc. The brain-storming session of debate was the most highlighted part where students pondered upon the notion ‘Attire enhances attitude .’ To conclude , the Principal of the school , Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam , addressed the students highlighting the importance of Indian Philosophy in today’s era . She explained how it is very important to train the mind to think . If we do not think , we will never be able to make optimum use of brain a great resource gifted by our heavenly Father freely to everyone of us . So everyone must have his / her own philosophy of life in order to lead a life of joy and contentment . Ultimately , she announced the results of the camp, declaring Rose petal as the winner . Thus the programme ended on a philosophical note . Inculcating various qualities in students , Noel School every year organised a personality development camp . The theme ‘Indian Philosophy’ was a catalyst for everyone . The programme started with the motivational prayer in the presence of the dignitaries , Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and Principal Mr Anul Manwar Sir . Four petals presented four Philosophers and their philosophy through the skit and their intros Rose petal presented the Philosophy of Sant Kabir Das . Philosophy of Gautam Buddha was presented by Daffodil petal . Humanism is one of the philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore was presented by the Lotus petal . Last but not the least Cosmos petal had presented Chanakya Niti in a very prominent way . A variety of activities like songs formations add mad show , funny news and comedy scene were presented by all the petals to give the students a change . The brain storming session of debate was the most highlighted part where students of Class 3 to 5 pondered upon the notion ‘Home work should be banned ’ and the young buddies of class 1 and 2 also expressed their views on ‘Carbon network is better than story books’ . The winner was Cosmos petal who grabbed most of the awards in the camp. The winners were felicitated by the guest of honour Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and Principal Mr. Anul Manwar Sir with beautiful ‘Ti aras’ and the ‘Crowns’. The camp came to an end with the notable speech of the judge the guest of honour , Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam . She addressed the students saying that today the society is feeling a dire need to lead life according to the ethics which have been erased out from our culture due to the fast globalisation . But we need to stick to our roots . The camp is an attempt where students can learn some lessons on practical life and develop their own philosophy of life .

World Food Day 6-11-2019

The Noel English High School (State Board) celebrated ‘World Food Day’ with excitement . A special programme was presented by the students of Class 6 Champions on Wednesday , 6th November , 2019 . The students presented the ‘History of World Food Day ’ at the beginning . Moving on the children sang a song about avoiding wasting food . The children explained the significance and importance of World Food Day through their posters . The children through their skit were successful in delivering the moral lesson that we should eat healthy food . The programme concluded with a game in which one had to come on stage and eat the given fruit within one minute . At the end , the Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam advised not to waste food because one of nine people in the world go to bed hungry . Global food waste amounts to one third of all the food produced . As per the Global Hunger Index , India ranks 102 in 117 countries . However if we all make efforts to save food it can save a lot of food that can be donated to the needy people especially children . Food banks can also be contacted for donating extra food at a party or wedding . Thus the day ended with a big message,‘Waste No Food’.

On the auspicious morning of 3rd October the Noel English High School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti in the presence of our beloved Principal Mam Mrs. Arpana Dongre .It began with the light-lamp ceremony . The programme was hosted by the students of 8th Warriors . They gave an account through their skit of how Gandhiji led our nation in the fight for freedom . The children were given a task of co-operation and a sense of involvement when they enacted the Dandi March conducted within the school campus . In this way through their performance students succeeded to inspire the audience and programme ended happily with the beautiful song , ‘Sabarmati Ke Sant Tune Kar Diya Kamal ’ The National festival of Gandhi Jayanti was hosted with great fervour by Class 4 Sapphire & Pearl of Noel School on 1st of October . After the lamp-lighting ceremony , the hosts gave an account of Gandhiji’s life and his achievement . The highlights were the first Satyagraha of South Africa , the train incident , Dandi March , etc . Some anecdotes from Gandhiji’s life were enacted followed by speeches , poems and songs . On this occasion , the birth anniversary of Lal Bahaddur Shastri was also celebrated . His clarion call ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ was impressed upon the students telling the importance of soldiers and farmers to the nation . At the end , the Principal , Mrs. Arpana Dongre advised to follow ‘Simple Living High Thinking’ . She also reminded about the three Monkeys of Gandhii Who will make life easy if their principles are followed Mr. Anul Manwar , the Principal emphasized the contribution of the 2nd PM of India , Lal Bahaddur Shastri .

Ozone day is celebrated since 1994 to spread awareness regarding the depletion of the ozone layer . The students of class 6 of Noel English School , Akola celebrated World Ozone Day on 19th Sept. 2019 . A speech was delivered by Om S. Chaudhari of class 6 Lords which showcased the importance of saving ozone from depletion . The students were given an opportunity to present a skit on the topic “Conserving ozone layer .” The programme ended with the words of wisdom delivered by the Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam.

नोएल इंग्लिश स्कूल में राजभाषा हिंदी दिवस १४ सितंबर को बडे हर्षोल्हास के साथ मनाया गया विभीन्न रंगारंग कार्यक्रमो के साथ हिंदी दिवस सप्ताह का आयोजन किया गया था. कार्यक्रम कि शुरुवात सुबह ७.३० बाजे व्हिक्टरी हॉल में हुई मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढाने हेतू मा. प्रधानचर्या सौ. अर्पणा संतोष डोंगरे मॅडम उपस्थित थे अतिथि महोदयां का स्वागत कक्षा ९ कि छात्र कु. शवरी बोंबटकर ने पुष्प तथा भेटकार्ड देते हुए किया नृत्य के माध्यम से छात्राओने भारतमाता का वंदन करते हुए दशको को मुग्ध किया कक्षा १० वी के छत्र ने हिंदी भाषा का महत्त्व तथा वर्तमान में राजभाषा कि स्तिथी पर प्रकाश डालते हुए ओजस्वी भाषण दिया इसके आलवा नुक्कड नाटक , गीत तथा हिंदी के साहित्यकार तथा उनकी रचनाओ पर जाणकारी दी गई जो मनोरंजक तथा ज्ञानवर्धक थी . कार्यक्रम सफल बनाने हेतू मा. प्रधानचार्य सौ. अर्पणा संतोष डोंगरे मॅडम का महत्वपूर्ण मार्गदर्शन मिला इस प्रकार नोएल स्कूल में हिंदी राजभाषा दिवस सप्ताह संपन्न हुआ . नोएल स्कूल में दि . १८-०९-२०१९ से २१-०९-२०१९ ताक हिंदी सप्ताह उत्साह के साथ मानया गया इस कार्यक्रम के प्रमुख अतिथि प्राथमिक विद्यालय के मुख्याध्यापक श्री. अनुल मनवर सर थे इस कार्यक्रम के शुरुवात हिंदी भाषा का महत्व समजानेवाले एक खूबसूरत गीत से हुई यह कार्यक्रम चार दिन तक मनया गया इस कार्यक्रम में गीत , भाषण नृत्य प्रस्तुत किए गए साथ हि नुक्कड नाटक , कविता प्रस्तुत गए इस क्रायर्क्रम का समापन दि . २१-०९-२०१९ को दोहे , कविता भाषण और हास्यमय नाटक के साथ संपन्न हुआ .

We celebrate Teacher’s Day every year throughout the country on 5th September students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day . This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan the second President of India . As a tribute to this great teacher , Noel school commemorated Teacher’s Day with a great zeal and enthusiasm . The responsibility of hosting was shouldered upon the student of 9th Standard . Myraids of performances such as speeches , dance , songs , humourous skits , etc were presented by the students paying a hearty tribute to their revered teachers . An appreciation ceremony was also conducted to adore the teachers for their perpetul services and hard work . The Principal of the school Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam addressed the audience making them realize the importance of teachers in one’s life and how great personalities have expressed their gratitude towards their teachers in their speeches and quotes . She suggested the students to co-operate and respect their teachers in every walk of life . At last , the vote of thanks was extended and the programme ended on a happy note and jubilant atmosphere . The co-founder of our school Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam , The Principals Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir , Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and Mr. Anul Manwar Sir were the Chief guests of this programme . Students performed many activities like-song , poem and skits on stage . The students of Class 5 performed a street play on stage and gave the message through the play that we should not depend only on teachers but we should become our own teachers . The programme ended up with the Principal’s address. Our Principal Mrs. Arpana Dongre madam addressed the students by saying that teachers are the mirror of our society . Teacher’s show the right way to the society . She also told that we should respect our teachers because they are the builders of the nation . In this way the Teacher’s Day was celebrated in Noel school with great joy and enthusiasm .

National Sports Day Class- (6 to 10 ) 29-08-2019

The National Sports Day in India is celebrated on 29th August on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of the Hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand who won gold medals in Olympics for India in the year 1928, 1932 and 1936. In Noel School, Akola National Sports Day was celebrated by organizing a special programme in the school where various sports events were organised in the school in collaboration with the Red Cross Society. The intention of organizing these events was to help the flood victims of Kolhapur and Sangli Districts with financial help. The students who got achievement in different sports were also honoured. Sports teachers, Sharad Pawar Sir and Aniket Shirsat Sir gave information to the students about the National Sports Day. The Principal, Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam motivated students by her energetic speech for the upcoming competitions. In the presence of Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam, Mr. Anosh Manwar Sir and Mr. Anul Manwar Sir the events were held in the school. Football, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, Cricket and Kho-Kho tournaments were organised in the school on this occasion. About 250 students from State Board and CBSE Board participated in this event. The Sports Coaches of Noel School, Akola Shahid Khan, Irshad Khan, Amit Sanghe, Sushant Charhate, Nandu Aware, Nitin Bharne, Aniket Shirsat, Sharad Pawar, Kalpana Das and Jitendra Agrawal worked as officials for these events.

To mark the birth anniversary of the Magician of Hockey Major Dhyanchand , National Sports Day was celebrated at Noel School , Akola on 29th August 2019 . The celebration was presented by the students of 3rd Topaz in the presence of the Principal of the school Mr. Anul Manwar Sir . The students of Class 3 gave information of Major Dhyanchand . A melodious and energetic dance was performed by the students of Class 3 . After the programme , Mr. Aniket Shirsat , Sports teacher inspired the students through his short speech . He encouraged the students to take part in sports and games as there are many opportunities in jobs related to sports and games . The Sports Day ended with some fun games organised for students .

On the glorious day of 20th Aug., 2019 ‘Well Wishers’ Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in Noel School , Akola . It was organized by the students of Std. 8 Victors in the graceful presence of the Principal of the school . Mrs. Arpana Dongre madam . Her cheerful welcome was done by Mrs. Deshpande Madam Supervisor . All the students from Std. 6 to 10 (State Board) were present for this program. The program was fired up with a beautiful speech given by Sumedh Kulkarni . In his speech he told about the inspirational work done by Noel family for the welfare of people . After that Sarvdnya Adhau gave more information about ‘World Wish Day’. Then a beautiful skit based on our real well-wishers was presented by the students which was really heart touching . In the skit a mother was the real well wisher for her son . All the students and teachers enjoyed the program , everyone sat glued to the show . At the end , the Principal guided with her valuable words . She explained the meaning of real well-wishers as well as she told about the indirect well-wishers from the society who may be strangers . She asked the students that they should express their gratitude towards the well-wishers whom they meet everyday . In this way , the program ended on a happy note wishing everyone to become a good well-wishers of our family and society at large. ‘ Well Wisher’s Day ’ was celebrated with a great zeal and zest in the Noel English Primary School , Akola on 20th of August 2019 . The celebration was hosted by the students of Std. 3 Diamond in the presence of the Principal of the school Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam and students of 1 to 5 std. along with their teachers. The students of Std. 3 explained the meaning of well wishers through a small skit of Thomas Alva Edison and his mother . They gave the message through this skit that our mother is our first and the best well wisher . Students read some quotes like “ Speak so politely with people that your ill wishers become your well wishers .” The Principal of the school Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam also addressed the students making them realize the importance of well wishers and of being well wishers of the school and society at large .

World Senior Citizen’s Day Class:- 1 to 10 08-08-2019

World Senior Citizen’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in The Noel English High School on 9th August 2019 . The atmosphere around was enlightened with the presence of the Chief Guest , our adorable and respected Mrs. Surekha Vijay Manwar Madam and Head Mistress, Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam . The Noelites of Class – 10 Achievers were the incharge of the celebration . The importance of Grandparents was emphasized through a skit . A speech , which conveyed the message that Grandparents are ones who have silver in their hairs and gold in their heart’s was enacted . The gathering also realized that beautiful young people are accidents of nature but beautiful old people are works of art . The Chief Guest , Mrs Surekha Manwar Madam and Mrs. Arpana Dongre Madam expressed that grandparents are as necessary as Vitamins for the growth and development of the children .” The programme came to an end with a group photo of all the teachers with the grand old lady of Noel : Manwar Madam Senior Citizen’s are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy , the greatest story tellers and the keepers of traditions . Senior Citizen’s are the family’s strong foundation . Through their special love and care , Senior Citizens keep a family close at heart . To honour them the Noel English Primary School , State Board celebrated Senior Citizen’s Day on 19th August ,2019 . The programme started with the welcome of our Chief Guest Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam , the Co-founder of Noel school and Mrs. Sangita Sukede Rajput Madam supervisor of the Noel Pre-Primary school . The students dedicated a poem and song to all the Senior Citizens . They also sang a melodious song . Then the students enacted a short skit to elaborate ‘how we should take care of our Senior Citizens.’ After this , our Chief Guest Mrs. Surekha Manwar Madam addressed our students about ‘the role of grandparents in our life’ and told them to respect and take care of them in their old age . At the end she showered her blessings of love on the students .
